Platform Role Notice
Shasyasetu operates as a marketplace platform connecting buyers directly with registered farmer-vendors. While products are sourced directly from farms, we actively support and coordinate the delivery process. We make reasonable efforts to ensure timely, smooth delivery and maintain clear communication between both parties.
1. Who Handles Delivery?
Orders placed on the Shasyasetu marketplace are fulfilled by the respective registered farmer-vendor who listed the product. The farmer-vendor is responsible for packaging and dispatching the goods to the buyer's specified address.
After an order is confirmed, Shasyasetu steps in to assist in coordination between the buyer and the farmer-vendor. Although we do not operate our own delivery fleet, we actively monitor order fulfillment to ensure a smooth logistical transition from farm to destination.
2. Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines depend on the product type, buyer's location, and the farmer-vendor's location. Orders are processed immediately after successful confirmation:

3. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges, if applicable, will be clearly displayed at the time of placing your order. Charges may vary depending on:
- Order quantity and weight.
- Distance between the farmer-vendor and the buyer's delivery address.
- Type of produce (perishable items may incur express handling charges).
Some orders may qualify for free delivery based on minimum order value thresholds or promotional offers, which will be indicated on the product listing.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched by the farmer-vendor, you will receive a confirmation with tracking information (if applicable). For order status updates, our platform team is available to support you and provide visibility into your delivery.
5. Delays & Failed Delivery
While we strive for prompt fulfillment, occasionally deliveries may experience delays due to logistics challenges, unpredictable weather, or other external variables. In such cases:
- Proactive Updates: Our platform will provide updates and support to keep you informed of any revised delivery expectations.
- Re-delivery Attempts: If a delivery attempt fails, the farmer-vendor or coordinated delivery partner will attempt re-delivery or contact you for alternative arrangements.
- Support: If a delivery is significantly delayed or fails due to an incorrect address, please contact our support team. Buyers may be eligible for a refund as per our Refund Policy.
6. Product Handling & Inspection
Buyers are advised to inspect the produce at the time of delivery. While the platform ensures quality coordination, our logistics depend on supplier-side fulfillment. Any visible defects, damage, or quality issues should be reported to Shasyasetu within 24 hours of delivery as per our Refund & Cancellation Policy so we can assist promptly.

While final physical handling relies on vendors and logistics partners, we take reasonable responsibility to oversee the delivery flow. We stand by our buyers and farmers to manage disputes, troubleshoot any delivery complications effectively, and ensure fair resolutions.
